Miranda Kerr gets prepped for Vanity Fair after Oscars party

Avon calling Miranda KerrPatti Pietschmann on the spot
Credit celebrity makeup artist Lisa Storey  for enhancing already beautiful  Meranda Kerr's look for last night's Vanity Fair After Party. Quite the look. Want to know  how to do it yourself? Lisa shares some tips below: Inspiration: Lisa went for a natural but slightly defined look that was radiant and soft, creating an overall pretty and delicate feel.
Face: Lisa lightly applied Avon True Color Liquid Foundation all over Miranda's face, then used Avon True Color Flawless Concealer Stick under the eyes and areas that needed a little more coverage. She lightly dabbed the concealer around the lip line to prep for lipstick. On the cheeks, she blended two shades of blush, Avon True Color Luminous Blush in Antique Rose and Avon True Color Luminous Blushin Candlelight, to create a delicate, flushed glow. Brows and Eyes: On the eyes, Lisa started with the peach shade from the Avon True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Qua…

IT gets Priyanka Bose ready for her Oscar closeup

Priyanka stars in Lion which nominated  for Best Picture Patti Pietschmann reporting
Last night was when Hollywood shines. In case you missed it, the Oscars took place and while it had a surprise ending (Warren Beatty and Fay Dunaway were handed the wrong envelop for Best Picture) all the stars shined brightly especially actresses such as Priyanka Bose thanks to makeup makeup by Nick Barose for Kiehl’s and IT Cosmetics.

Priyanka has gorgeous dark eyes; they’re so animated and can look extra dramatic with some colors and even when paired with a pop of color on the lips, too. Dark skin with dark hair and eyes like Priyanka’s can carry more colors-- it won’t cla…

Canadian company creates efficacious sunscreens that are safe for everybody

by Patti Pietschmann
Think of the sun as 'beauty and the beast'.  While a tan makes everyone look more attractive and healthy, getting one by sitting in the sun is quite beastly and harmful. Not only does overexposure to rays speed up the aging of skin  (translated sun spots, wrinkles and lines) it has been known to cause skin cancer (been there done that and have scars to prove it). Enter Cybederm, a Canadian company that caught my attention via an email because of how effective and efficacious its products sound.  Hardly new to the business Cyberderm has been around since 2008 years.   It was founded by Canadian doctors Denis Dudley and Sharyn Laughin who say the company is dedicated to creating products that feature the latest and best advances in formulations back by medical professionals. The company sent me two products to try:

Every Morning Sun Whip a great facial sunscreen with a cashmere matte…
