Swag fests are a big part of  Hollywood Awards Season.  The events are held to honor the nominees as well as  get publicity from the press. Everyone comes away a winner especially last Friday at Secret Rooms Events pre-Golden Globe gifting lounge at SLS Hotel Beverly Hills.  Your Beauty Guru also scored, not just products for herself but some nifty new launches to share with my readers among which are:

AROMABABY--this is a great gift (think Valentine's Day) for new Moms, but adults can use it too. We're talking special baby care products that were first gifted to Sly Stallone's baby Sophia in Melbourne during his trip for the Planet Hollywood opening there in 1997. It was also presented to Princess Mary, Mariska Hargitay, KellyPreston and other celebs prior the Golden Globes swag suite where media such and I and Hollywood invitees also got a bag of goodies. The shampoo and bath gel smells wonderful and leave hair and skin baby soft. Check it out on Facebook at AromababyOrganicBabySkincare.

SPLAT—an oral care brand of water-less toothpaste (as well as the normal kind)  designed to clean, prevent plague, protect from tooth decay, promote gum health and keep your breath smelling fresh for all those Hollywood blow kisses.
Auspect Skin Care—a “try me’ kit was given out that contained Vita A Retinol Facial Serum; Exfol+ Exfoliating Serum; Vita C Skin Brightening Serum and Vita B Damage Control Serum.  Each are packaged in travel-friendly bottles and are intended to produce superstar looking skin.
CelleCle—love this one for the name which means the  key to transformation. But I also love how it smells and feels going on my skin--like it's doing good and I'm sure it is. The products are designed to fight environmental intruders such as pollution, climate extremes and mobile devices and ward off breakouts, dehydration, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles and more. I've been trying them out and LOVE the results. The company has lots of products on its web site.
CoteCHHair Hybird Shampoo an Conditioner –they didn’t give out any info on this product but I will be testing it soon and reporting back on the results.
Mighty No Bitey 100% Insect Repellent—this one couldn’t be more timely with the epidemic of mosquito-borne viruses  (such as the Zika) in tropical areas. It smells nice, contains essential oils and as the bottle says, “is strong enough for tough guys and safe enough for babies.” It’s already packed in my toiletry kit for our next Caribbean cruise (I cover the cruise industry at www.cruiseable.com and on www.blogspot.com on my Cruise Guru column.

Non F Expert Massage cream by McCoy--created to melt the fat, improve metabolism, reduce bumpiness and tighten saggy skin.  I started bringing it to Crunch and apply it as directed before and after workouts (it's supposed to take a month of uses to see full results).  Let's see if it really gets the job done. Sounds promising especially since it contains what the company calls, "rich anti-aging ingredients" stem cell extract, ozonized oryza sativa (rice), callus culture extract (stem cell) and caviar placenta.

Woda Magic Bamboo & Charcoal Mask that's simply amazing. I actually tested it last night on myself and husband Richard and both our faces sprung to life with a youthful glow (no kidding). Margaret Tomaszewicz of European Skin and Massage Studio's was right on the mark when she told me at the Secret Room Events lounge that this is an awesome mask. She also does facials at the salon at 1333 2nd Street, Santa Monica, California. Call 424-279-9771 for appointments. Tell them Patti, the bodacious beauty guru, sent you.

The Happiness Box is a great gift idea that contains 350  wonderful daily sayings for people to pick much like fortune cookies. Today's handpicked happiness card said, "We are no longer happy so soon as we wish to be happier" by Walter Savage Landor. My husband picked out "They are no dead who live in the hearts they leave behind," which is a A Native American proverb.
